This year we had the most prairie celestials blooming in the garden EVER! These are so hard to photo — just an amazing blue, plus the flowers open later in the day — and last for that day only.
Ours are even more special to me because they are rescued plants. There was an interstate expansion (I-35 for those in Texas) and we saved them with a friend who organized the rescue. I want to be like her when I grow up.
